The idea is simple:
Couples travel around to different places/countries in europe and/or other continents,
by hitch hiking, or by other means of transport,
facilitating the discussion of issues and interacting with individuals and local communities,
opening spaces and eventually opportunities for interaction and (international) cooperation, awareness raising and critical thinking, knowledge and (alternative) solutions building, project development, towards the further self empowerment and emancipation of all individuals and communities that wish to participate.
- Extends - in a low budget way - the interaction, events, discussions, tools and resources-practices, to wich (youth) activists and ngo representatives have access to ,
to individuals and communities that they meet on their way. ( in schools, universities, youth mouvements, and other private and public spaces )
- Stimulates a spirit of initiative and cooperative solution development
- Opens up opportunities for alternative and intrinsically motivated (constructivist) learning.

here are some other simple fields of potential:
"asking" people "around us" ?
There are plenty of ( rich ) people - in some of the west european capitals and financial centers - that have good laptops they do not use anymore, because they baught a new one, and that they can give instead of selling it second hand. - and same with digital cameras + they can have the satisfaction to follow up the nomads using their stuff on the internet = meaningfull entertainment ? )
Thee are companies ( with wich we might share values? - renewable energy? energy conservation? + alot of money being invested in energy conservation by european commission and west european states in heating for example / since 40% of energy consumption is related to living and non industrial working spaces / industry taking about 29% , and transportation 15% ) that might have an interest in having nomads connecting people to some of their (awareness) campaigns or goals - or eventally,
we can have some more private agreements for networking between different people within organisations or companies for specific goals / we have the facilitating skills : and no one can beat our costs - since we hitch hike - and have hospitality wherever we go - and in the beginning, since we build our credibility, we only need about 10 euros a day for survival - and then we can raise our cost for such private services as our credibility grows
IN OTHER WORDS , INFORMATION COACHES CAN ALSO BE USEFULL FOR THE PRIVATE SECTOR , AND IT MIGHT BE A GOOD WAY OF EXPERIMENTING AND DEELOPPING EXPERIENCE - IN A WAY THAT MIGHT BE MORE FLEXIBLE THEN WITH GRANTS

I am looking forward to network further and develop such networks of travellers , raising further questions and projects regarding ( holistically thought and felt ) meaning , emancipation, empowerement and sustainability ...
and further developping and gathering materials, practices, and other ressources trough , for example, specific data bases and communication platforms, for learning and project development ( including furthering alternative organisational and economic experimentation )
I have been interacting with NGO s , and am somwhat critical of power struggles within such structures, therefore preferring informal interaction... nevertheless, I keep interacting with such networks, and such kind of international cooperation. I have been ocusing on european cooperation, and have started working on asia-europe cooperation.

some of the NGO worlds, and other communities, while keeping it informal and

We share visions and many often the case our objectives complement each other.
I want to introduce you to the Open World Project:

The ideas are simple, yet powerfull, and can complement with your ideas and objectives.
Many of us share somewhat common lifestyles, or are interested in developping further opportunities related to alternative lifestyles. Many of us love travelling, and want to develop new opportunities for travelling and discover ourselves, the world we live in, while building, opening up opportunities for others, and developping caring viable and long term solutions.
Soon schoolyear will start again. Soon young people will be gathered in these spaces, with the mission, at least in theory, to learn and emancipate themselves.
However critical one may be of the ( school ) system, one can not deny that schools and universities open up opportunities for connecting with young people and raising questions about the world in wich we live and the meaning our lives and actions we build on have and may have in the future.
Building within the vision of maximsation of opportunities ,
I believe that much potential is created trough connecting individuals, ideas, and ressources,
and that we have the practices and the tools to unleash such potential.
Self empowerment is a central element of such vision,
and self empowerment leads us many often the case to a culture of initiative, to raising questions and connecting each other, since gathering people multiplies possibilities and opportunities, and understanding what goals we want and need to reach brings individuals , energies, questions, ideas, knowledge and other ressources together for building and achieving them.
Through facing questions and connecting ideas, new visions and perspectives arise and develop.
We might be used to paradigms of dependence on our environments and societies, and on the dominances that have power over the ressources available within such environments... and in many respects, it is and will continue to be so,
although we are currently in a paradigm shift:
the current information and network paradigm, the availability of technologies connecting us instantly to knowledge and information, ressources, and to interaction and organisation capabilities between individuals and groups of individuals all over the world ,
creates new opportunities and has the power to reduce our dependence on the local powers and dominances,
making it possible to create new ressurces with each other, by connecting needs with available ressources, and , most importantly,
by easing the process of building together towards our common objectives.
But first, we need to understand what our common objectives are, and how we want to build them.
Spaces need to be created, wich can then provide for flows between individuals and between spaces.
I am looking forward for us to start with this first objective :
CREATING SPACES AND SPREADING THE USE OF TOOLS AND PRACTICES THAT CAN EASE THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW UNDERSTANDING, IDEAS, KNOWLEDGE BUILDING, AND PROJECTS... ( wich in turn creates a new economy that on the long term can sustain the flow of mouvements )
It is very simple.
One of the first steps I see, from this point, is to gather a few ressources and tools, such as for example about 10 euros a day per person, a digital camera, and eventually a pc laptop...
To gather some of such basic ressources, wich represent very little in comparison with all the wealth available in the rich countries some of us live in,
we need to persuade some individuals that have those ressources to invest in us.
One of the challenges right now is to understand how this can benefit potential sponsors.
I realise that NGO s can understand within the framework of the current presentation of http://www.oikoumene.be/openworld∞ , as it is a low budget extension of their work.
Now, can this also apply for companies?
I GUESS THAT WHAT MIGHT BE INTERESTING IS TO QUESTION PEOPLE IN COMPANIES, AND SEE HOW CERTAIN SPACES WITH YOUTH, FOR EXAMPLE IN SCHOOSL AND UNIVERSITIES, CAN BENEFIT THEM TOO, TROUGH COOPERATING AROUND QUESTIONS AND PROBLEMS TO DEVELOP ?
I need to convice trough presenting that once the tools that can enable to connect and open up possibilities for cooperation exist, step by step opencourseware can develop itself around questions that arise trough spaces created, and new ressources can develop themselves.
We do not need to be dependent on each other to organise it, but each of us can empower itself and organise itself as it wishes if it wishes to pursue an open world project and lifestyle. We can then gather our results and share the practices we might have used to reach certain results.
I believe a open world campaign , with the support of other experienced and recognised individuals can also be usefull and beneficial.

Once it gets started, I believe that the pictures and other results of our activity will lead to get our work better known and recognised, and will lead to sponteneous support from investors , sponsors, and political ( governmental ? ) support , easing for example access to visas and other potential hurdles.
I believe it is important such a mouvement to be built as a decentralised network, with no central dominances:
a decentralised data base system , open source gpl softwares and tools, that can be developped and used for building open coursewares and sharing information , new alternative p2p financial systems , ... etc.
There is a lot we can think about and build,
but this must not let us see this enterprise as something complicated. On the contrary, it is fueld by a very simple idea: WE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO LIVE AND ENJOY PASSIONATELY WHAT WE DO :-)
... MOVE IT , CONNECT , QUESTION AND THINK,... AND WITHOUT REALISING IT, OPPORTUNITIES BUILD THEMSELVES TROUGH OUR ACTIONS AND CHOICES
...Opening up new flows, new spaces, new cultures of initiative, creating new ways and eventually new lifestyles, that may have more meaning to us and that can be more sustainable and provide us more opportunities for holistic understanding and emancipation.

NOW...
I currently need to understand how such kind of informal project , even if support needed is minimal, can dispose of 5 to 7 euros a day per facilitator-open world activist.
I am aware of many grants and opportunities for financing seminars,
nevertheless, by experience, I realise there is alot of waste and , although they can be combined, I believe more efficiency can be reached by developping more informal paths that connect not only to an elite of informed organisation or business representatives, but also to young people in schools and anyone in public spaces... businesses, governmental organisations,...
And that is the point... the project can connect many different parts of society... around consructivist questionning and problem solving...
Facilitating the opening of spaces and focal points for initiatives and constructivist development and cooperation can benefit not only the empowerment of youth, but also of communities as a whole,
and can also open up economic opportunities by connecting the potential of individuals, knowledge, and eventually ressources and tools.
Companies or certain interest groups might also want to cooperate, share or invest - with possibly some kind of returns according to their interests - in certain of the intiatives born out of such interaction, as long as it can benefit the sustainable maximisation of opportunities and quality of life for any individuals ...
