In regard to OpenWorld

I am thinking of alternative FINANCING solutions, such as a Online Magic Hat,

where OpenWorld nomadic Auto-Didacts/Activists/Thinkers/Artists/Technicians/Facilitators...

can have their own profile with their own magic hat , and present their current activities or work.

Such a tool should allow them to get themselves known and get financial support by allowing other people to see what activities and projects they do , and
if potential sponsors like what OW nomad activists/faciltators are busy with and want to help them to survive and continue their project,

it is possible to fill up their magic hat by sending one or two euros ( or more ).

Anyone can instantly see online the level of filling of the magic hat of the project or of the person's OW profile according to its needs ( for example 5 , or 10 euros a day for survival , depending on wich region the open world nomad is currently active - or needs such as old laptops people can donate,... )

Such a system could also be related to a credibility-comments system, and allow full transparency of where the money goes to,allowing the sponsor to have a direct feeling of participation according to he's/her choices.

It should be possible to transfer money by bank transfer, by Visa ( paypal, etc )

BUT I STILL NEED TO TALK ABOUT IT MORE WITH SOME PROGRAMMER AND DESIGNER FRIENDS, AND STILL NEED TO DEVELOP SUCH A TOOL

A description about the Magic Hat Tool can be found in French on:

I am interested in facilitating access to opportunities wich could be related to some kind of nomadic university, and also more generally to "maximise opportunities" - see keyconcept page below -

and I look forward to start with building a decentralised framework to facilitate the development of a mouvement and network I call OpenWorld ... see :

http://www.oikoumene.be/OpenWorld

To many, it still seems vague, and I realise that only when I ll try to implement projects and experiment further within such a informal and open framework will it be more easily understood.

For the moment, I am still thinking of solutions for financing tools.

I know how to apply for grants with the european commission , and have experience with it since that's where much of the money that supports the youth ngo's I interact with comes from, but I do not believe it is the most appropriate form of financing for developping a informal and flexible mouvement. ( or at least, I do not want to rely on money from the commission or certain other foundations - not if it creates dependence on a more centralised managment of ressources )

Therefore, I am thinking of other solutions, such as a Online Magic Hat,...

another argument for developping solutions such as

http://www.oikoumene.be/magichat

is TRANSPARENCY - and DIRECT CONNECTION WITH SPENDING by DIRECTLY FINANCING every day , every item , etc

avoiding or reducing drastically bureaucracy costs,

avoiding THE MEGA WASTE OF RESSOURCES of the money fundraised by big aid organisations ( 25 to 30 percent of the money being spent before even having any reach with the issues the money is donated for - such as "commercials for fundraising" , etc etc )

and this also AVOIDS THE KIND OF MEGA CORRUPTION there have been in quite a few "aid" organisations such as

http://www.tvindalert.com/ ( see quick links on the side )

and other

including some big ones I remember such as cancer research foundation fraud in france , ...
